Education

It is important that athletes be educated about the negative effects of using performance enhancing drugs.  Along with the increased testing and punishments for the use of drugs, the league should offer education to these athletes.  It is also very important that the game of baseball be cleaned up of this drug use, becuase millions of young kids who idolize these athletes may try to use these drugs as well. 

Baseball HAD a drug problem; but the league is currently doing all that it can to rid this problem.  Players and owners have taken responsibility for what happened in the past and are working together to move forward and be sure it does not happen again in the future.

Over the past decade, steroid and performance enhancing drug use has increased in baseball.  Congress as well as baseball ownership are working towards eliminating this problem.
